CPU usage was like 20% .
With gnome-system-monitor I get continuos scratchs while plaing WAV audio file
in AUDACITY. After closing it I get less scratches...
I do not know why this happends only with Audacity and NOT with Sweep or Arduor
or even other simple audio players.

similar behaviour. No more window frames, decorations of anything. No

Hello,
We want to report that having a music CD in the tray with music playing
stops the frequent freeze. One of our customers says:

portmap is to do with network services (like NFS or NIS) so is almost certainly
nothing to do with this bug. The BUG stuff looks similarly unrelated to this
particular report and you are probably best off seeing whether you can
reproduce that issue when using the open source nv driv

this can only be done using help, command line and some network-

I tested a little the 6.5.3 version. It crashes blender 2.43 and 2.41
when changing from edit mode to object mode. Reverting the mesa drivers
to 6.5.1, found on edgy, hasn't that problem and blender works
correctly.
