I tried five suspend/resume cycles, as well as two hibernate/wake
cycles. I had to resort to a "real" shutdown (poweroff) and restart
before audio worked again.
I'll keep trying other combinations of things to see if I can narrow the
failure scenario down any.

I had installed gnome-compiz-manager before.
Could it be in conflict with desktop-effects?
I tried to remove gnome-compiz-manager completely and then I reinstalled
compiz, desktop-effects and metacity (with libraries etc) completely.
No luck.

I installed epiphany last night. I turned on the favicon extension and
it worked. i turned off the computer and went to bed. I woke up this
morning and the favicon extension doesn't work anymore. It's still
turned on. It simply stopped working.

there's a check for a PPD file
http://localhost:631/printers/Queue.ppd exists if the queue is not raw.
If you have a raw queue, it does not have a PPD file and so it gives a
404 Not Found.
evince should also handle raw queues correctly and then only show
options which are suitable for raw queues.

Also having this type of problem with my Latitude C610 laptop.
When I had Edgy installed, pushing the power button would bring the
Shutdown menu with all the options: Shutdown, Restart, Hibernate, etc.
Now in Feisty, it only _occasionally_ comes up. Sometimes the button
won't respond at all.

First I started Kftpgrabber, used it for a few transfer operations.
Then I put the computer on sleep.
Woked up the computer, cancelled the connection.
Then crash after a few seconds
It caused the signal 11(SIGSEGV)

I did an strace on evince while trying to print.
The error "** (evince:24793): WARNING **: Error result: HTTP Error in GET
Success" is obtained when trying to open:
http://localhost:631/printers/Queue.ppd
which gives a 404 Not Found error

Confirmed also on a Thinkpad T40 (2373) running 2.6.20-15-generic. As
noted above, suspending to ram fixes the problem.
