Per Doug's link just above, I tried using the Configuration editor on
nautilus-cd-burner but it didn't work for me. I tried all combinations
of settings for burnproof, debug and overburn but no combination worked.
I even rebooted the PC but nothing changed.

I have the same problem, and I use feisty.
The reason I found this is because I'm experimenting with my
fingerprint-reader, and since try_first_pass is unrecognized in standard
pam_unix in feisty, I need to use pam_unix2

I have the same problem, I can't install texlive-base. I can install
texlive-base-bin alone though. But not texlive-base. I attach error log
and output:
$ sudo apt-get install texlive-base

Building dependency tree

texlive-base
oh, and sorry for not mentioning, i have ubuntu feisty.

Yes, I just tried it again in Ubuntu Server 7.04 and the Bug is still
there. Same setup as above.
And as I wrote in my first post, the fix is quite simple. From the
manual of sed it is clear, that the spaces are wrong. So what is to do
to remove the two stupid spaces from the package?
