I have the same problem. On my system I have 3 hard drives, and the

Same problem occurs in Feisty Final with a fresh install. When shutting
down from GDM, usplash appears correctly. When shutting down from xfce,

Well, as a workaround for my own sanity, I just copied the newest
psvn.el (get it at http://www.xsteve.at/prg/emacs/psvn.el) over the
ubuntu-supplied /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/psvn.el (make a backup first
of course), and now the problem is solved. (I byte-compiled the file
too for speed). This w

Compared to Mepis and Mandriva (distros I've tried before using KDE
3.5), Kubuntu IS noticeably slower. I would like to confirm that KDE as
a whole is indeed sluggish, from applications to bootup. I've been

The latest version of apparmor (2.0.1+510.dfsg-0ubuntu6) cannot be
installed on feisty, because it requires libc6 (>= 2.5-5). Could it be
