I want to share the condition of Nepal, where more than 90 percentage of
computers are based on pirated softwares, OS is pirated windows. Madan Puraskar
Pustakalaya is translating linux in Nepali language. Here are very few number
of Ubuntu users, I am newbie to Ubuntu, just installed in my mach
"new partition size" is a total ambiguity. I didn't see the ambiguity
until reading this bug report. I just took it to mean "size of the new
partition" and was pissed when it resized the old partition to that
size, not the new one.

On one of the duplicate bugs it is mentioned that using "lock screen"
before using "switch user" also works around the bug. This is very
curious, but I can verify that the bug does not appear if the previous
session is locked first.

It happened to me again today. This time I deleted ~/.xine/catalog.cache
and the problem went away. Unfortunately I forgot to save a copy of
catalog.cache before I deleted it, so I can't attach it here.
Does the fact that it has happened to me twice mean there is something
peculiar about my system
I've just installed fedora 7 and scrolling is very smooth in all sites except
starcraft2.com
I think that there is an ubuntu patch that increases the heaviness of scrolling!
