Yesterdays upgrade broke the boot procedure of my laptop (X60s).
I notice that my crypthome is not mounted, because cryptsetup fails. It
looks for my cryptodisk at /dev/vg/crypthome, which used to be a symlink
to /dev/mapper/vg-crypthome.
The missing symlinks cause all

Also, to clarify, the hvm guest is not actually using any more RAM than
it is supposed to. firefox is caching a lot as usually and that coupled

Summary says it all really.
This is a serious data loss bug. Anyone saving their work in Photoshop
format (PSD) on 64bit Feisty will LOSE their work. The file written is
corrupt and cannot be loaded, but the saving appears to work (even the
preview
I forgot to mention that the first resize operation in gparted failed
showing the error that partition is mounted and it cannot proceed with
resizing.

Can this not be solved by giving tpb provides hotkey-setup, so that
ibm users can install tpb without breaking xubuntu-desktop? That way the
user has to take action to get tpb, but otherwise hotkey-setup will be
installed?

From a support position we'd do the following for a paid customer
1. Escalate the bug to the distro team
At the very least they'd look into the issue and make a firm decision on
whether it was possible to resolve and if so how it would be resolved

If I create a shortcut of an application to launch it in a gnome-terminal I get
an error that says
unable to execute child process (I traslated it from italian, sorry for
mistake)
The same error if I write in a terminale the command
Same thing on a Dell Dimension 4500s with an intel 845G chipset. Between
the boot loader and the start of X, there is a blank screen. Switching
to a console will show an extremely large font, so the resolution must
be off. Also, on a shutdown, after X is closed, the screen goes blank
again.
