Hmm... well do you guys feel that slow rendering is an improvement over
corruption, or should we hold off until a proper fix is available?
I'm assuming the corruption went away because the rendering got

Since the patch, I am noticing that while NetworkManager doesn't seem to
disappear from the system tray spontaneously as before, it does become
non-operational (i.e. the nm-applet says "No network Devices have been

I believe I have this same bug on a Thinkpad R51 with a Radeon RV250
(Mobility FireGL9000). Screen shuts off when gdm/x starts (either from
boot or manually calling "/etc/init.d/gdm start" from recovery mode) and

Just a quick note that I'm still working on it. However, my conclusion
is that the overall design is flawed, and that the PIPESTATUS hack is
probably the way to go for Ubuntu. I'll see about convincing upstream
to take my full reimplementation ... If anybody can shed light on how to
get the atten
It was in 1574, it got broken in 1575. I've committed a small
efficiency fix, and re-instated correct ordering for performing the
model sort.

could you please at least inform the end user that the share printer option is
only between cups programs, it's not evident at first!
And it would be a great improvement to directly configure which printers will
be shared by samba share.

config-printer, therefore the fix in system-config-printer.

Actually, not only does suspend still not work, but as of yesterday's
daily build (10/4/2007), Xorg won't even come up booting on the LiveCD
on the Acer Aspire 5601AWLMi.

With the latest driver released in Gutsy (6.7.193 and 6.7.194) the
resolution issue is resolved. I am no sure what is -tv6.
