Another forum gave me an idea. I dual boot from Vista, but if I
shutdown, then unplug the power cord, boot to Kubuntu, then plug the
cord back in, the sound **seems** to work. I've only reproduced this
twice so I'm not ready to call it a "workaround" but it does seem to

All I can say is it's happened when I plug 3 usb harddrive with ntfs, I mounted
its with ntfs-3g.

When I try to open Epiphany a segmentation fault (core dumped) error
occours and the browser doesn`t open.
I`am trying to open with recover windows/tabs because I don`t want to
loose some page I left open.

able to play .. but when i do seeking its not seeking is it possble to
seek in totem-gstreamer ... but im able to seek when i play local mp3 files.

I confirm,
PDF created with latex, viewed and printed in feisty, looked normal.
After upgrade to gutsy, internal link look red, bibliography link look green
and web link look blue. This appears also in freshly installed gutsy.
These boxes are also present in the printed pages.

I can confirm that reinstalling libc6_2.6.1-1ubuntu10_amd64.deb fixed
the corrupted libc6 files but I'm not convinced that the corruption is
caused by libc6 because corruption of other packages have occurred as
well. At first I thought the corruption was caused by incompatible
hardware but I instal
