About the MD5 sum: I check it on the downloaded ISO, but not on the

I have tried the first 2 things you suggested above, I added the line
FileDevice yes without quotes to the end of the file. however, I cannot

If you want the nm-applet to show connection status and provide the
drop-down list of networks, you have to go into the interface properties
and tick Enable roaming mode.

very flakey at times.

Login into GNOME performs really bad when there's no Internet connection
There's no picture what so ever if I try to use the 'intel' driver. I
configured X with 'Screens and Graphics' tool and then hit ctrl-alt-
backspace. Not even login screen were shown after that (just blank

I just updated my system to the new kernel. Now grub no longer lists

I use a workaround with enabling laptop-mode with CONTROL_HD_POWERMGMT=1

When I disconnect the power cord for a moment (to enable laptop mode)

of my laptops, the Evo N600c, is grilling and toasting its harddrive
after I set hdparm -B 200. HD Temperature now is constantly at 50
