"This key is not writable". I've tried to unset the key, but to no avail. do
you think that reverting to the Feisty kernel could still slve my problem? You

On importing photos from my Canon Ixus 60 digi cam via the gnome photo
import window, the checkbox rotate images does not take an effect.
In Feisty, the images were really rotated by the gnome photo import.
Since Gusty, the image rotation does no longer work for me.
Procedur
I guess that the i810 driver won't be fixed anymore since it is
deprecated.

Could you please recheck it with Gutsy Final Live CD? In Gutsy i810
driver is deprecated and intel driver is used instead.

I have this problem on a Dell Optiplex GX280. Just like Dan Lewis, all
it takes is one intensive task and my computer leaves the fan on until I
reboot.
