this bug is still not fixed in gutsy. i have a new installation and on my
portrait screen 1024 by 768 the evolution window (and all subwindows) open too
wide (the screen width is 768!) not by far, but enough that the buttons top
right are not visible.

I am using a Tyan Thunder s2895 MOBO. I can use Feisty 64-bit, and Gutsy
32-bit just fine, however Gutsy 64-bit does a Kernel panic at boot. So
the problem is in the 64-bit code base of the newer kernels. I have

Here is what I am seeing. After a reboot of the print server, the
printer is online and reachable. I go to my desktop machine and print a
document. The printer starts printing then stops midstream. Sending

if i click the window title once, the window resizes to maximum, moving is not

Thanks for the tip! It wasn't in fact the same issue, but just looking
at /etc/pam.d and /var/log/auth.log helped me getting to the root of
this. While running Feisty I added the line @include common-pamkeyring
to /etc/pam.d/gnome-screensaver to enable automatic WPA authentication
after resuming
I tried the acpi and pci=nommconf options. They did not work for me.

I have the same problem with Kubuntu 7.10, gwenview 1.4.1-1ubuntu2.
The external tools configuration has the Name set to The GIMP and
the Command set to gimp-remote -n %F. From the error message
(reported above) it looked like Gwenview was executing the Name
instead of the Command. I changed the

Just noticed that the external tool configuration for Konqueror does work.
It looks like any of the others: Name is Konqueror and Command is
konqueror %u. Maybe there is something else up.

I have the same problem. It seems to occur after leaving the machine
idle for a while, and closing the lid. (Though this doesn't suspend,
just switches off the screen)
When I open it again the mouse pointer seems to randomly cycle between 3
types of behaviour. The first is that described by

did you performed an Upgrade? If so try using 2.6.22-15 version of the
kernel. The default boot still stays the same as before upgrade (2.6.22-14).
This will solve problem if you are using less the 4GB. With 4 GB or more .
then the possibility is with device drivers for some of your hard ware.
