I'm getting the same thing today. I didn't do a fresh install - just
updates since installing 8.04 Alpha1. The error instructs to include
the contents of /var/log/dist-upgrade, which I've attached. There are
two files in the archive.

Kubuntu Gutsy.
I just noticed that one of the two popup if for root and one is for the current
user. If you choose tou mount the media with the root-based popup, you will not
be able to unmount it by choosing safely

I just upgraded to Hardy Heron (Linux kernel 2.6.24) and the same
problem is replicated: system boots but fsck complains about certain
disks referenced in /etc/fstab (by uuid) are missing: spesifically the 2

I am Lugmaster for Wolves lug. Due to this I asked to have my blog
added to the planet wolves page.
I use Blogger but got a bit miffed with having to logon etc so looked
for an alternative.
Gnome-blog-poster seemed to be perfect. However

I've been reading through much of the Ubuntu docs on development, contribution,
releases etc.
I now have the feeling that version upgrades only occur between releases, so
therefore backuppc v3.1 will only be packaged for, and tested with hardy.
So a sysadmin of a backuppc server should expect

Related to the microphone TOO low issue (-50db): on a Dell XPS M1330.
Compiling ALSA from sources - amd64 arch.
I downloaded ALSA snapshot dated 10-Jan-2007 - it already has the patch + also
explicitly detects now the M1330 model.
But the mic is still to low, so I searched in
601 - 700 of 1148 matches
