i opened the evo and i waited to unstack. After a while i tried to close
the App and it told me that the evo doesn't respond and if i wanted to

I've committed a fix to make bzr status in a svn checkout with non-ascii
utf8 characters work.
The name I²C is a little bit different and the "Path is not unicode
normalized" error comes from core Bazaar. The same error will occur if
you try to use that name with Bazaar itself.

We have a network that's working fine with 2 other linux machines and
an XP laptop. For some reason though the ipw2100 card on my HP tc1100
laptop sees the network but doesn't seem to request IP addresses
properly from dhcp.

I think that using the old bootlogd is the right fix. It seems that
bootlogd and logd can and should coexist on the same system (of course,
if they write to different logfiles). They just serve different
purposes.

I tried HH alpha 3 and it behaved exactly the same as alpha2. live cd
loads, seems to work. "error communicationg with backend". can't
figure out partial update. I tried suspend and it would not come back.

mplayer -ao oss works
mplayer -ao alsa freezes in ao2_init
Firefox freezes, instant a flash video is opened.
Basically identical to doclist's report - any suggestions for repair
would be appreciated.

Very similar issue and HW. All applications freeze up when using ALSA.
However, far from intermittently, it now happens every time.
