I am also concerned by this bug.
I found that it occurs when I add a Web Calendar (Google Calendar to be

Nope, I am dumb. Due to some amazingly weird complications with my
chroots and apt cache, I managed to wreck hardy builds. libxml2 is
fine.

With Dapper 6.06 LTS :
When trying to install the StumbleUpon toolbar for Firefox, although the
dependency requirements state =2.1, Synaptic does not warn that it is
incompatible with the current version that is in the LTS release
I installed Flight Gear (also on Gutsy) and I have no problem running
it. Version 0.9.10 is the current version in the repository. Have you
tried uninstalling and reinstalling the package?

FilmAficionado: for a working copy of the 115 update for Gutsy (7.10),
see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=636397 (as was previously
linked). All you have to do is download a DEB and install it (by
double-clicking it and entering your password when requested).

There is an autotext entry to insert a formula, but I agree with you that a
keyboard hotkey would be better.
To use the autotext entry, type fn without the quotes into your document and
hit F3.
