Binary package hint: xournal
In the most recent version of xournal (0.4.1) on Hardy, most of xournal's tools
are broken.
In particular:
1) Pen highlighter tool: Drawing / highlighting only becomes visible after
_releasing_ the mouse button.
2) Eraser tool: Sometime erases

For me this started to work easily with restricted drivers in Feisty.
It still worked in Feisty upgraded to Gutsy but won't work in a fresh install
of Gutsy or the latest Hardy.

update-manager -d works for standard releases which are made once in
every 6 months. As of now, Hardy is still in its alpha stage and hence
updating from Gutsy to Hardy will not happen using update-manager until
Hardy is officially released this April,

The file mentioned in the report is /usr/share/texmf-
tetex/tex/latex/txfonts/txfonts.sty, which belongs to tetex-extra in
Debian etch. Why is this bug assigned to texlive-base pacakge?
The teTeX stuff is mostly obsoleted (both in Debian and Ubuntu) anyway.

I looked at the package, and to me it seems that the problem lies in the
Makefile.in where there are these lines:
Icondir = $(datadir)/pixmaps
Mimedir = $(datadir)/mime-info
Gamesdir = $(datadir)/gnome/apps/Games
changing Gamesdir = $(datadir)/applications should solve the problem I
think.
