I can't get it now either. Looks like amd64 is lagging behind ppc and
i386? Or is there a build issue?

Regression: RealTek 8139 hard-locks system on installation
Notice for me the grey text is totally invisible in the photo, lighter
than the text on the page underneath the one I'm photographing!!
some words (italics) are unreadable because they are so blurry.
Looking close to the output it looks like the text is dithered, no hard
edges, no stark black, no
I can confirm this issue, with evince and my ml-2010.
I'll attach some test images, but my quality issues seem even worse than
the ones posted here. The type from my lyx document is almost
unreadable. I decided to take a break from trying to read it to post
here (I have a headache!).

Just confirming that this regression is still present in the latest
kernel for Hardy alpha:
$ uname -a
Linux noel-hardy 2.6.24-7-generic #1 SMP Thu Feb 7 00:56:31 UTC 2008 x86_64
GNU/Linux
$ cat /proc/version_signature
Ubuntu 2.6.24-7.12-generic
Gutsy works, Hardy alpha is still brok
Yes, it would seem that's at least one of the causes. Could that patch
be included directly in Ubuntu, until it propagates through from
upstream (if it didn't already)? It's just a one-liner.

Verification done on Feisty packages:
* After installed the flashplugin-nonfree package and went to youtute.com with
konqueror the flashplugin didn't work.
* After installing the packages in proposed and go to youtube.com with
konqueror the flash plugin worked fine, bug is fixed there too.

Public bug reported:
I finally got my father to try out ubuntu on a brand new laptop he bought.
There are two serious bugs. I'll also report the other in a seperate bug.
This is a Packard Bell ME35 laptop. The wireless card is a rtl8189 internal
usb. Lspci won't show it but lsusb displays:
