I'm running an up-to-date version of hardy (alpha 6) in vmware server.
When I open anything in the System Administration menu, press the unlock
button and wait a few seconds a popup is displayed, saying an unexpected error
occurred.
This error doesn't occur when I enter

I did a test using the fglrx driver. This time the TV resolution didn't
want to play ball and big black rims were put around the image. But
you're right, I didn't know about the even-multiple restrictions -

I have tried both the LiveCD and doing a dist-upgrade to 8.04 but now I
just get:

I think this bug is again present in Hardy Alpha 5 live CD.
Now Firefox 3 Beta can't install neither Adobe Flash, nor Gnash, showing
an error about flashplugin-nonfree or mozilla-plugin-gnash being not
found, and then informing the user that Flash has been (actually not)
successfully installed.

It isn't that the panel crashes (at least not on my computer), it's that
it gets hidden by about 90%. To reproduce:

This bug appears to be corrected in Ubuntu hardy (8.04) openoffice.org
1:2.4.0~rc2-1ubuntu3 so I am marking it as Fix Released. If after

installation takes around 26 seconds there

your absolutly right, /dev/random is waiting for usage of the touchpad
as it gathers some random information from it. i could use /dev/urandom
but i think that /dev/urandom is not secure enough. So i hope there will
be another solution.
