While "xev" in Gutsy displays an event for "sudo acpi_fakekey 148", in Hardy no
event gets displayed.
Therefore I'm assigning the bug to xserver-xorg: I don't know if this is
correct, but I think it's nearer to the root cause.

Here is a patch for version 1:0.7.2-0ubuntu2 that enables cards with a
whitelisted pciid.
I included in the list all the pciids I have seen in these comments.
The attachment is the debian/patches directory. My patch is named

After thinking I suppose that it's a security mecanism. Usershare is a
layer added to samba. If in samba, home directories are already
exported, or can be exported later, usershare should not use user's name
to anticipate problems of sharing different folders with the same name.

The device is a little NS box, the D-Link DS-323. Connecting via
smbclient gives me the following:

Looks like it's running Samba 2.2.8a. There's a firmware upgrade to get

manually click on Import icon from F-spot or if I open it with Nautilus.

The crash occured first time after upgrading from ubuntu 7.10 to 8.04 (beta).
Solfege crashes also on a fresh 8.04 install.
Manually creating the missing folder "lessonfiles" cures the warning but

I have this same problem.
I've had evolution and exchange working for quite some time now on
Gutsy, but upon upgrading to Hardy it stopped working.
We use HTTPS (only) for OWA at our company.
I get the same error as above.

Packages failed archive rebuild test possibly due to python-central trans
Well I fixed the problem, I followed armin's advice and modified my xorg.conf
and then rebooted, It still was not working so I opened gsynaptics which now
works and ticked the enable touchpad box. Now my touchpad works again :-)
