I would like to second this wish... PostgreSQL 8.3 has some very good
new features but I can't really make use of them, because I need also

When my previous scanner died, I specifically bought a used HP Scanjet
5300C because the SANE website said it worked completely. When I try to
use it with Linux I have the same problem noted previously in this
thread. Scanner works fine in Windows so no hardware

On a MacBookPro Santa Rosa (nvidia 8600GTM), video is lost twice while the
upgrade process from gutsy - hardy.
This is blocking the upgrade process as while the video is off, questions
cannot be seen by the user (and are therefore hard to reply to).
