After an X crash, I have this bug with a Hardy up-to-date. I've
workarounded it in firefox by setting the DPI in about:config to 96, but
yelp, devhelp, epiphany and liferea are still affected.
It doesn't affects images, only fonts, BTW.

I have this problem with Hardy Beta. After pressing the Quit button, the
screen freezes (gnome-panel seems to be polling a socket) and after some
time, the log out dialog appears. When gnome-power-manager is running,
it works correctly.

I used to experience the same problem. Printing a file immediately
crashed Firefox. I played around with deactivating my extensions which
enabled printing again. However, it is strange that after enabling all
my extensions again printing still works.

It is fixed but system will crash. Someone stated that SMP is not
friendly with the driver. I haven't recompiled the kernel to find out.

My wireless worked with Alpha 6 but ceased to do so since Beta (possibly

I have the same problem. For me it happened when I upgraded my RAM from
1GB to 4GB. First I thought it might be a problem with MTRRs, but it
seems only gdm is making problems.
KDM works fine and if I start gnome-sesion via $HOME/.xsession, this
works too...

Pitti, thanks for the tip with the int_outof, this reduced the fdi file
size from 300k to 10.5k. New packages are in place.
Johannes, I have attached the new improved script with all 256 entries

I'm sorry, it seems like I do not have the exact same graphics card. It
is a Radeon 9600XT but the lspci output is different:
$ lspci | grep ATI

the problem was solved by chance. i am not sure but i suppose it
happened whilst another download or install was running.

I am having the same problem, also with my all-in-one HP
printer/scanner. HP-Toolbox is suffering from the same problem and I
think they are related.
If I start kooka as root from a terminal I get this error message:
