Binary package hint: nvidia-glx-new
The version of the Nvidia binary drivers included in Hardy does not
provide support for the 9600 GT. Installing the binary driver by hand
and maintaining it through kernel updates is annoying.

I have a similar issue which I added here
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/201483.
I'm not sure how close this issue is but I get trapped in BusyBox after
I update to latest in Hardy. This seems to be a more active bug so I'm
going to keep my status here.

I'm having the same issue with an abit AN52 board that uses the Nvidia chipset.
I thought something got screwed up when I upgraded to Hardy beta from Gutsy
until I tried it with a brand new Alpha 6 livecd install on a different hard
drive. It worked fine until I upgraded to the latest packages.

Under Hardy Beta (latest patches),
"Death Adder" USB Mouse is still powered on after resume, does not move

If the USB stick is taken out and put back into the same slot (lol) then
the mouse still does not working, but powers back
Everything installs fine. Only problem is Nvidia will not support thr rt
kernel or the xen kernel with their "binary" drivers. So can't test any
further. But no problem installing.
