another victim here ... everything works intill I install the ATI prop
drivers. This is not a problem with ATI though because 7.10 works just
fine it only became in issue once I upgraded to 8.04. I have installed
the kubuntu props, the ENVY props, and even installed the drivers direct
from ati/am

I don't think it's a bug with Nautilus as such. If you go to
System->Preferences->Main Menu, and look under Graphics, you'll see that
there are actually 3 F-Spot applications installed. One is just a viewer
and not the full F-Spot.

I do not consider this a cosmetic bug. I can not longer mount shares on
my NAS unit that mounted fine with the beta. I saved the fstab Fri

I've just compiled 2.6.25 from kernel.org too, and the regression is
still there, same acpi fan problem. Also, treid with acpi debug, dsdt
with _WAK warning fixed.

I just verified on a newly upgraded Hardy machine that the ngircd pid
directory is being created properly by the initscript. This bug is
probably safe to close.

display UTC as one of the time choices. IRC meetings, etc., are often
scheduled in terms of UTC, and it's a legitimate timezone. Please add

I think I have the same problem as you guys, after gutsy->hardy upgrade
I lost my cdrom drive which used to be addressed as /dev/hda (my HD is
serial ata and so not connected to the standard IDE bus). I only have a
/dev/sr0 and /dev/scd0 entries which relate to scsi emulation stuff, I

Confirm that this problem still exists with Hardy. I just did a clean
install on the same system mentioned previously. The system hangs up
with a black scree after booting when using the proprietary fglrx
drivers. I have to hit the reset button to reboot. The only way to get
the system into a usabl
I can confirm Geoffrey's workaround, de-selecting the automount works. But
after mounting the device manually, KDE can't eject the device. I have to
manually eject it with "sudo eject /dev/sd* ".
Although this works, it is rather annoying.
