For me it works (Macbooks Pro rev 3), but only in console using cdrecord (also
blanking works when using cd-rw's).
When I use cdrecord, I have to specify --force or it won't burn anything and
stop with an error.

When playing an mp3 file in Rhythmbox (and other media players, amarok,
VLC etc) there is intermittent playback problem. System sounds are not
working either.
The soundcard has been detected and works fine becuase there is sound
when playing a CD and DVD.

I swapped the Capslock and LeftCtrl keys through gnome-keyboard-
properties. This works fine, except that the Capslock LED light toggles
every time I hit the physical Capslock key. I also confirm that this is

I have problems with my audio. I can't hear audio from youtube and the

This has definitely resurfaced as an issue in Hardy (official release).

I can confirm this--Nvidia fakeraid 5; using the kubuntu x86-64 release
install, the dm-raid4-5 module is present and appears to load
successfully on modprobe. It reports itself as loaded, but otherwise has
no effect. There is no dmesg output, 'dmsetup targets' does not list the
raid45 target
I wish to nominate this for an SRU.
Statement of Impact:
Nut doesnt start upsd when the computer has booted. This prevents the
user from using their UPS.
Statement of how this has been addressed:
I have added Jamie's workaround for 'adduser nut nut' in the
nut.postinst file. This will be fixed

Same issue here, cannot upgrade a machine without an installed desktop
meta-package. You can workaround by using apt-cdrom then doing the
network upgrade, but it would be nice to upgrade via the cd only then
get the updates off the net that were needed.

firefox-dbg isn't available in repository for firefox 3.
/var/crash is empty. I reported the crash with: apport-cli -f P 14309.
The freeze is partially reproducible when firefox 3 load web page with
flash applets: firefox is unstable and don't respond in some moments. The
problem is present only

btnx-0.4.10 fixes the issue. However, use btnx-config-0.4.9 and run it
at least once (run and close if you have no need to edit the
configuration). This will regenerate the udev rule which is compatible
with the changes.

changed the theme, and now it's much better, but not really gone.

I resumed from a suspend to RAM. I'll attach dmesg, uname -a, lspci and
/proc/version_signature.
I had bluetooth enabled and had established a serial connection over bluetooth
which I didn't release when suspending. I have used that connection as a modem
with wvdial.
