Working from Hardy I have had problems with Power Management features
and noticed slight problems with extended GL graphics (screensavers and
SecondLife). I tried Intrepid alpha 4 and with an initial install
process changing no boot options and the screen began to flicker. I
It still doesn't work on my A21p, no updates available on 8.04 and the
Volume up/down buttons don't register, neither does the brightness
up/down buttons. In 7.10, it came up with an indicator on screen

Oh: yes, there are other ways to tell whether the windows are from the
same application. The most immediately obvious ones are the optional
WM_CLIENT_MACHINE and _NET_WM_PID properties, which would give you the
process ID of the owning application:

I had the same problem with all the Ubuntu releases 'till Hardy.
However, i solved the problem downloading the source of ov51x_jpeg module
from the repository and compiling the module.
Once it has been placed in /lib/modules it is sufficient to unload ov511 by
rmmod and then load in sequence
I should add that at the time of this submission, my system had all
patches/ updates applied.

I tested the site with Midori (webkit backend) using nvidia restricted
driver and it runs perfectly... in Firefox 3.01 I experience the bogged
down effect also.
CPU usage (as measured with gnome system monitor) spikes on the pragprog
site using firefox, but stays relatively flat in MIdori.

so the problem occurs because pidgin couldn't recognize some special
characters in a QQ group name. Changing the group name in the blist.xml
can only fix the problem temporarily because once pidgin starts, it

It appears to work full screen with Nvidia drivers and xinerama turned
on here. This was the problem that I was having. I opened a bug at the
time and it was marked as a dupe of this one.

When i try to use the log off, shutdown, switch user symbol in the panel.
I can't use functions from them.
Nothing happened.
