I just tested again with linux-image-2. 2.6.27-3.4, and the network card
worked for me. It autonegotiated 1000/FD but it worked this time. I

I have the same behaviour and I can reproduce it mounting the iso image
and launching 'wine umenu.exe'.
The bug is present in umenu.exe (which is launched by autorun) but I
haven't found the source code of this file in the webpage of wubi
project.

At this date, I still have an occasion where the audio has locked up

My FON router lets out two wifi signals: 1) Public, open and insecure
which people can pay to use, 2) Personal, usually secure as it is for my

After the computer suspends, upon resume network manager thinks that
there are more and more devices. This causes network manager to run
@TWO. Ok there are other players thats right. But some time ago i had the smae
problem with Adept.
And, the fix is ready. Is there a problem with building fixed packages for
(k)ubuntu? On ubuntu bugs were fixed faster.
It is very annoying that such a thing would take 6 months to release this
papabear, could you please try installing python-qt3 as homayoun

This occurred for me on 2 separate, fresh installations of Intrepid
(alphas 4 and 5) with new 'testing' users created during installation
(so there is no carry-over of old user preferences). From memory,
setting a theme fixes the problem, as does enabling desktop effects.

I have what might be the same problem. pppoeconf works the first time
then fails after 2 restarts. I undo the modifications of pppoeconf to
/etc/network/interfaces and run it again. Works, then fails after 2
restarts.
I try from live CD and the Network manager works, so I reinstall ubuntu,
