I can confirm this on Intrepid alpha 6 and on intrepid with konqueror
4.1.1. It seems to be specific to Konqueror since reading '.d'
directories over fish:// works fine in dolphin on hardy and intrepid.

I used to see (and be annoyed by) this problem with Firefox printing.
But I am happy to say that this seems to work fine OOTB for some time
now. I run hardy.

What is confusing is that the settings are set in one way, you change
them and it's no way to revert back...if it's difficult to remove them,
isn't it possible to at least have them disabled by default?

There is a lot of misunderstanding regarding the 'Audigy Analog/Digital
Output Jack' mixer element. Certain Sigmatel codecs require this
element to be UNmuted to have audible analog audio from the speaker
jack. An increasing number of Sigmatel codecs require this element to
be muted to have
i worked with alpha 6 a few days and i didn't encounter this bug (with
Kernel 2.6.27), if any one else can confirm it's fixed too please do so
:-)
BUT, this bug still exists on kernel 2.6.24 that comes with hardy, which
