I just installed the .deb package on my Kubuntu 3.5.10. It doesn't
clutter the taskbar as much, but I do still see closed applications
linger on the Compiz taskbar. Contrary to earlier, they do disappear,
but it takes a minute or so. Right now I'm looking at Thunderbird and
KTorrent

After further investigation, i can confirm that this problem is indeed
solved. What happens now is that the default configuration for the
exceptions on the Gnome Network Proxy Preferences is probably not the
most correct.
The default exceptions are:
localhost
*.local
127.0.0.0/8

Running Intrepid Ibex Alpha 6 AMD64 with all updates applied.
Just did the latest updates, restarted as required and got this crash report.

I am using a 2.6.26 kernel in hardy which loads the e1000e module on a
Thinkpad X300. I have not seen any problems but as a precaution have
blacklisted the module by hand by adding the line
blacklist e1000e
to the end of the file
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist

wget should prefer records over A a records when IPv6 connectivity
is available.
To accomplish this the following line has to be added to /etc/wgetrc:
prefer-family = IPv6
With that setting wget will use records when available and use IPv4
as a fall-back.

In /mythplugins-fixes/mythgame/mythgame/gamehandler.cpp, myth_system()
is used to launch the game (around line 867).
myth_system() does not disable the screen saver by default. We can use
the ScreenSaverControl class to, um, control the screen saver in
mythgame.

sounds more like the CA server is overloaded (as may happen with the
