When running from the command line (with or without parameters) it
simply outputs an error of the form 'Received SIGSEGV, core dumped' (I
don't have that PC in front of me to get the exact wording)

FWIW I've seen kernel oopses in btdelconn on my Asus EeePC 900 that
happened when I unplugged the Bluetooth USB dongle. The btdelconn
process would then go on spinning with 100% CPU usage until I rebooted
(usually with Alt+SysRq).

I'd like to suggest a solution for this problem: create an easy way to
change those colors, in the same way as the desktop themes. It's easy to
find information about HOW to change those colors, but it requires you
to set up every color, not really what the average user would enjoy…

If I continue it just after it loads the debugging symbols but not after
I click the OK button on the error, it doesn't crash immediately. It
does crash as soon as gdb detaches though. I guess gdb is catching it.
Not using gdb, it crashes as soon as I click OK if it's a reply.

Using an up to date Intrepid i still have this bug as of september 26.
Currently installed is networkmanager is 0.7
svn20080908t183521+eni0-0ubuntu4. About an hour after a reboot Network
Manager is already eating 1.6gb of memory, and constantly using about

Just to add that I am using the latest firmware available from
intellinuxwireless.org (iwlwifi-3945-ucode-15.28.1.6) as there wasn't
any available firmwares in Intrepid for my card at the time. My original
hope was that the latest firmware would fix the issue but the problem
still very much exists.
