Hmm, that's rather surprising that the patched driver didn't solve the
issue.
Well, here's another one that pulls in the atom bios changes as well.

I just uploaded the patch to Intrepid. Please test if you are
running Intrepid.
The package seems quite buggy to me, but this change at least
