Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox
Hello,
I test the Intrepid beta live CD at the moment.
If I go to a site with flash or java or something like that firefox opens the
Plugin Finder Service, which is a good thing.
But then I have the choice to install the GJC Web Browser Plugin
Same with 2.6.27-5-generic:
# sudo modprobe gspca_vc032x
# dmesg | tail
[23214.597615] gspca: probing 046d:0892
[23214.805950] vc032x: check sensor header 44
[23214.819964] vc032x: Read Sensor h (0x00) m (0x30) l (0x31)
[23214.834953] vc032x: Read Sensor h (0x00) m (0x30) l (0x31)
[23214.849977]
Thanks man, it worked here too. Hopefully they will find soon what's the
problem inside the code.
Cheers,
Giorgio

Same behavior on my T61p - Tyler, you might try what I've found helpful
sometimes. Try removing all power from the laptop - including the
battery, and then plugging it back in 30s later.
The card seems to be put into a very inconsistent state by these
drivers.

I can understand Andy's frustration. I went through the same
aggravation several months back. This is the main reason I'm still
using Gutsy. I can also understand Sebastien's point that there are
limited resources and a ton of bugs to be fixed. All of the developers
work goes much appreciated.

Binary package hint: glchess
After upgrading to Intrepid beta if I just click on the chess board at
all it will crash. 2D chess works fine.

I have this problems as well in Kubuntu Intrepid latest beta. When the
master volumen is set to PCM, the OSD and volumen (for PCM) works fine.
But when i set the master volume to Front (this is happening whatever i
use a desktop or a laptop...), the OSD does not move and if i open the
KMix window,
I think the problem is because of the two default routes with the same
destination isn't it?
