In daily 20081014, the negative sized partition is corrected, but the

Actually, I've just noticed from your dmesg that you appear to be
running the Hardy (2.6.24-19) kernel on your installed Intrepid system
(which is when the keyboard doesn't work). Is there any reason for this,
and can you try this with the latest Intrepid kernel instead please?

I have done a clean install of Hardy on the laptop, and the VESA driver
now works. Still need to work out how to get the external video working,
but I think if there is a problem there, it would be a separate bug.

Suspend/resume worked perfectly fine in Hardy, and now, to get network after
resume, I have to:
- Kill the wireless with the switch and activate again
- sudo rmmod iwl3945 && sudo modprobe iwl3945
Then, I get wireless back, and everything is fine.

I can confirm this problem on fresh install (intel x86) of intrepid beta
with all updates . Opening gedit from the menu or by double clicking a
file would take between 20-30 seconds to start. Once opened new files
would load instantaneously in a new tab. However, closing gedit and
reopening it imme

I'm not sure but this seems related to this upstream bug:
