versions, but you can take the .ppt I posted and try it yourself.
Also, I had the same problem in the past week at a conference, where we

Alberto: My problems have been traced to a problem with another package
and a corruption in one of my files. False alarm sorry. Dist-upgrades
probably won't work for me, because there is a trange xorg-input-all bug
going on, but I will try a CD installation later in the week.

I've been looking through the log-files. Package python-uniconvertor was
installed (to meet a recommends from inkscape) during your dist-upgrade
