- Power-on your laptop with Kernel >=2.6.22
- Power-off and wait ~10h.

When a menu is open (Applications,Places or Systems), and Fn+up/Fn+down keys
are pressed, the screen brightness is changed correctly without any
double/quadruple steps, although, now there are only 5 brightness levels,

I would like to open this bug again, running regularily updated

I can confirm that I was able to copy files from the phone (LG KU990)
and to the phone with bluez utils 3.x, however, the recent update to
version 4.12 of bluez utils breaks the direction phone to PC.

That Ubuntu 8.10 is about to be released is very commendable, but will
benefit only a small share of Ubuntu 8.04 users, namely those who do not

I've been unable to recreate this using network-manager version
0.7~~svn20081015t224738-0ubuntu1. I set the MTU to 1492 and it shows up
as 1492 via ifconfig wlan0. Additionally, the custom set MTU persisted
after a reboot.

was boot a live CD here on my laptop and confirmed the bug, logged out and in 3

Have you manually installed a previous version of python-setuptools for
python2.4 ?
If so can you try to uninstall it before installing the one shipped with Ubuntu
or you can set overwrite-local=1 in /etc/python/debian_config

2.5 ? I guess so because you're talking about an upgrade from hardy to
intrepid but hardy doesn't ship uniconvertor.

When the card is inserted i can see an interrupt storm on /proc/interrupt:

I i unplug the PCMCIA card acpî interrupts don't grow anymore.
