The attempted upgrade on my system then caused the USB memory stick to

So do I. Here is the backtrace. Most everytime I close kontact, it's

Can you try with the version I have in my ppa? It's final version 0.7.0, and
it's working for me in Intrepid.
You can find it at http://ppa.launchpad.net/fabricesp/ubuntu.
And use the parameters that are references in bug #162575 for autopano.

Actually I don't know if I have the exact same trouble, since in my case,
pidgin totally freezes.
I have tried what Marquer suggested, but I didn't have the expected output.
Anyway, I ran pidgin in debug mode for some time expecting to find the
specific event that triggered the froze; after some

Im still unable to reproduce this reliably I tried a fair amount today
and only had it happen once. I have not tried with compiz off. Its too
bad we have not attracted the attention of someone more knowledgeable
yet. If it continues to appear to be a compiz bug at some point we

I have tried with 8.04 Hardy Heron and the issue still remains the
same...
I am able to get it work with the following options to the kernel
"i8042.reset i8042.nomux"
