Sorry, but I have an entirely new system now that doesn't use nvidia. I
guess this could have been a driver issue, since noone else seem to be
complaining. However, it could also be that this problem is so commonly
known that people edit the xorg.conf without considering that nvidia-
settings

from rt28xx-linux-sta. Thanks! Best would be to set up a PPA, to also

I installed kernel 2.6.27-10 to get acpi support on my Toshiba Portege R100 but

kubuntu 8.10 with kde 4.1.3 updated. All mail accounts are IMAP.
But, here's an updatekdevelop was crashing without kcrash showing up
too, so I decided to reboot, so...when all apps were closing, kcrash
just poped up ( the kontact one ).

This bug seems to prevail in Intrepid (32-bit) as well.
I can choose open with Gimp in Nautilus, causing UFRaw to load the image.
Right-clicking in F-spot on the other hand shows no available apps for editing.
It is hard to say as a layman/regular user if the problem is in F-spot, Gimp or

problem with firefox not with WoW as the other poster. I think the only
solution is to put a version of alsa-oss into the ia32-libs package. But

The problem still persists. But changing desktop using the Kasbar (clicking on
an app that's on another desktop) refreshes the system and solves the issue.

Most of the time suspend to RAM works for me with Intrepid but randomly
the keyboard and touchpad will not work.
The network and X come back to life and the power button works but
keyboard and touchpad do not. Only resolve is to hard power off.

This is on an up-to-date install of Ubuntu 8.04.1.
apt-cache policy gcc
gcc:
Installed: 4:4.2.3-1ubuntu6
Candidate: 4:4.2.3-1ubuntu6
To be clear: the problem is that the error message only mentions the
constructor, and the vtable. It doesn't mention the method A::B(),
which is actually the problem. On a less-minimal example it could take
much longer to work out what the real problem is.
