I exactly followed the instructions from the wiki page. Running gdb
nautilus in rxvt produces the exact same results as the already attached
backtrace. Any tips how to get a propper backtrace? No other nautilus
processes where running at the time. Uninstalling nautilus-actions also

Yes, in Ubuntu 8.04 LTS with all updates popup notification bar in

I have this same issue both with 8.04, and now with 8.10. This occured
on a FRESH install (not an upgrade) of 8.10, as well as a clean install

No it isn't a long term solution, but at least I can continue working.
It definitely needs to be addressed IMHO. Not sure it's a mozilla
problem or not.
I do know it did the same with Seamonkey and also with Transmission. I
think it's more an NFS issue.
