Every time that the display passes from X to the VT, everything is flickering
(I have a video of a VT switch).
I cannot use the VT anymore.

I upgraded to Jaunty, and after dealing with 3 issues (nvidia driver was
uninstalled, which messed my graphics up for a long time; something in
.gconf/ made Gnome simply ignore my .gnomerc so I couldn't use any
window manager but Metacity - a big issue since I need keyboard-driven

Also, since that test crash kerneloops repeats the same dialog box again
and again with every login, it doesn't seem to remove whatever cached
information it writes about the crash report. I never got an apport
.crash file for oopses either, I thought it was supposed to write those
now?

As promised, this is an update to say that I haven't had any problems

Confirmed to be black. Changed to Human theme and they worked. Either
this has something to do with missing icons or bad references... But
either way the text should show up!

Felipe, I've spent about an hour examining the log-files and reports.
Everything points to a (intermittent) hardware problem. I'm inclined to
think it could be something causing a memory-mapping issue right now,
but that is just a guess with no evidence to point to.
