I believe this is specifically the result of a fix Colin applied today,
to cause udebs to *not* be duplicated in the CD apt repo if they're

Well i just got this bug report after a failed wakening of my laptop.
It was low on power when i suspended it.
ProblemType: KernelOops
Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from
resuming properly.

Tried it, but it still failed to resume the touchpad. I wish they had the
foreknowledge to put these internal pads on the usb bus instead. Now PS/2 is
almost dead as it should be, but it leaves us with lingering shortcomings.

is songbird doesn't have keyboard shortcuts making the best linux player
less than worthless, and amarok 2.0 isn't so nice as amarok 1.4 that I

I am also experiencing a problem mounting data discs in 8.10.
Having recently changed from Suse 10.3/KDE to Ubuntu 8.10/Gnome I have
discs burnt with Suse/K3b. These discs mount very, very slowly with
much disc activity using 8.10.

i have the same issue, it is not a normal shutdown, it is like pulling
the power cable from a computer. when it happens it is a little random,
sometimes it will shutdown at the loading splash screen, sometimes at
the login screen, but most of the time within a minute of getting to the
desktop.

I confirm this issue in Jaunty Alpha5 if I try to install gdesklets almost
all of the packages it's marked to eliminate.
Also if we take a look... the versions of gdesklets and gdesklets-data
respectively are not equal.
My wife aren't happy with this.
