script for powernowd gave me an ugly error about not being able to find
/sbin/lsmod. And it's true: it's /bin/lsmod, not /sbin/lsmod. The same

For me to have system-config-printer working you only need to have the
latest ubuntu version (actually the 1.1.3+git20090218-0ubuntu7 version,

I just tried to reproduce this with jaunty on my i386 box with a Intel
G965 graphics card, didn't crash. I also tested on my jaunty amd64
laptop with Intell 4500 graphics, didn't crash.
Is anyone able to reproduce this with jaunty?

I would consider it a bug. As far as I understood the problem is that
flushing to the filesystem does not occur in correct order. Metadata
should be flushed after data has been flushed to ensure transactional
