I have the same problem. My USB stick is a Freecom DataBar USB 2.0 Flash
Drive, 2GB.
For me, the 'Live USB' booted on my Ubuntu-running EeePC 701, but not on
my desktop (XP). Wuby was unavailable in Windows for me though, but it
did seem to be there (I didn't test it) on the CD. Although, I'm not
without -k it will work fine here also.

I also installed Jaunty beta on a single Intel processor machine with 700 Mbyte
memory and the installation worked like a champ but...
since I'need the real time beaviour for studio work I had to modify the
menu.lst so that I was able to boot from --linux-rt 2.6.27-3--.
So far so good.

I cannot find any mention of exit codes in the man page for iconv (1).
That makes it more difficult than necessary to check for errors in shell
scripts that use iconv. Returning 0 on success and 1 on failure would be

I too tried installing Jaunty Betaon VirtualBox with Network
enabled. The installation took so long, that I had to click Cancel and

Apparently I had dnsmasq running which prevented virbr0 setup. Probably
a leftover of some test... properly purging dnsmasq solved the issue.
Please ignore the noise, that would be a duplicate of bug 231060.
