I cannot confirm this using 2.1.4-dfsg-1ubuntu2 in Ubuntu Jaunty;

I can confirm this for an Acer Aspire 5920 with current Jaunty
development version. It did not happen with Intrepid for me.
Whenever I turn off bluetooth and restart my laptop bluetooth is
automatically turned on again on next startup.

May be this bug is hardware/chipset dependend. I did a fresh dual boot
install of Intrepid on my windows pc equipped with a HD4850 and did
activate fglrx via hardware manager which installed the repository
version (9.3 I think). No such problem up to now.

Hi,
This works with kde4.2.1 in Intrepid... But in Jaunty, i have the same
problem, for example, with gwenview. Lets says, i have the folder
Imágenes (which is default for Spanish installation) and i can' open
directly any of images that are inside there. I can open if o execute
gwenview
I am able to get mobile broadband working using wvdial, so this rules
out the possibility that the bug would be somewhere deeper in the
system.

The problem also exists in Jaunty Beta.
Packages mentioned above are installed, xine plays the stream fine. However
deleting and recreating does not have an effect.
It all worked prior to the update, so seems to be a Jaunty regression.

I can confirm that the thinkfinger_0.3+r118-0ubuntu4.diff.gz patch

LiDE 60) is plugged in. Goes away when it is not there. lsusb sees the

Network manager is still failing in my case:
I have a pcmcia card using nozomi driver. The driver creates /dev/noz#
from 0 to 3 interfaces.
I tried to patch 77-nm-probe-modem-capabilities.rules without any

On the PS3, manually changing the x11 driver from synaptics to evdev
makes the mouse wheel work in X.

I regret to inform that my bug report may be bogus. I initially
performed a memtest which cleared, but it seems my motherboard trains
the memory upon boot and subsequent reboots caused the memory to be set
at a higher speed. Once i configured the BIOS to use static DRAM
settings and not on-boot
if it's a matter of time, have a look at my ppa.
