I just tried creating a fresh user account. I don't experience the problem

I suppose we should customize that Debian patch to say Kubuntu...
This won't be fixed for Kubuntu 9.04 since we cannot change user-visible
strings at this point. (And it works as expected in themed mode)
We can probably look at this in Kubuntu 9.10.

I have tried the live version of 9.04 beta, and the issue seems to be
resolved there; a random ssh connection over IPv6 seems to work. If it
is decided that this issue is not worth backporting, i'll just upgrade
as soon as 9.04 is released.

webcam (Acer CristalEye webcam), I get this error:
