Hi, sorry for the late answer but I was outside home this week and my laptop

I've just checked the new stable kubuntu live cd and the problem worsened, in
the RC the cd didn't start x automatically but ended into terminal, but using

I did not change xorg.conf. I just followed these steps:
1. run nvidia-settings -q RefreshRate to find out real refresh rate. It says 60.
2. go to System setting -> Display and change refresh rate. Click Apply.
3. run nvidia-settings -q RefreshRate. I says 75. So refresh rate is changed.
4. reboot
I upgraded to Jaunty (final) and after a couple hours began seeing
persistent dialogs saying "There was an error while performing indexing:
Index corrupted". (Same as many other reporters. No such problem on the
fresh install on my desktop.)
I tried killing tracker, removing ~/.cache/tracker, and
Hmm... I don't think this is the same bug. Given the "Connection reset
by peer" errors in the Debian bug, and the maintainer's trouble in
reproducing it, it looks like more of a network-fault kind of issue.
This bug is getting at a problem with the program's behavior as
intended.

apt-get source tsclient
apt-get build-dep tsclient
cd tsclien
