I've got three Intel CPU machines here, all running Jaunty with kernel
2.6.28-11-generic.
On the Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz (Dual Core PC) I get:

Seems to be 100% reproducible when burning data dvds. Quite annoying. I

The apport-collect crashed on me but upon testing this since Jaunty's

are installed via ubuntu-restricted-extras package, but this can't solve
the problem. :(

When using the Radeon Mobility M6 LY on a Thinkpad X24 on Ubuntu 9.04,
playing HD video with vlc and the XV driver gives BadAlloc
(Insufficient resources for Operation). However, the same file will play
correctly on the same hardware running vlc on Windows XP.

The basic story: 32 bit operating systems are limited to 4 GB of memory
(all operating systems). However, 32 bit Ubuntu is limited to 3 GB
unless you install the server
