This seems to have fixed the freezing issue. However with the version
from jaunty-proposed, the repeat sound feature seems to be broken. If I
create an alarm that's suppose to ring, it will ring once and then stop,

Installing linux-backports-modules-jaunty made it so that I cannot
resume from suspend. When I resume, my keyboard doesn't work. I
usually hit the power button to put the computer to sleep. After I

Why did you move the bug? I have to nvidia? I have an itel chipset.
Do you mean that it is not xorg dependent by every affected video driver

Pointer goes of
I tried adding the pci=nomsi kernel parameter and suspending, but now
instead of suspending, it simply restarts Xorg. When logged back into
GNOME, networking has been disabled.
I don't have Bluetooth on my machine, so I didn't bother trying to turn
it off.
