Sorry...don't think I can help. I upgraded to Jaunty this last weekend
without this bug showing up again. My best guess is still related to
the piecemeal approach I took when I installed Hardy--but honestly, this
is not my area of expertise and I just don't know.

restricted driver for Broadcom wireless card. Later I found out from
jockey log that it hanged while trying to install b43-fwcutter which was

I get this message at startup on an intermittent basis:
The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:TomboyApplet".
9.04
After I clear the message everything including Tomboy seems to work
without a problem.
Reinstalling Tomboy does not help.

with how applications handle multiple screens in a Xinerama layout. A
