Miredo should restart whenever the networking interface comes up. The
OpenSSH-server package does this by putting a script inside
/etc/network/if-up.d, and I believe doing the same thing for Miredo
would make Miredo restart as needed automatically.

I am using an xfx nForce 750a SLI motherboard with a built in nvidia
GeForce 8200 graphics chipset using nvidia's proprietary driver version
180. Whenever I enable the desktop effects (compiz) in Jaunty the
system printing dialog freezes the desktop including the mouse.
I just want to add my own confirmation, and the relevant files, here.
Like everyone else, I encounter seemingly random system freezes on
Jaunty. On the same machine on which I encounter these freezes, I have
no problems running Crunchbang 8.10, Debian Lenny, or ArchLinux -- the
issue occurs only

the network, when i looked to find out why, i saw that saned was enabled, yet
connections were being refused on port 6566. Checking netstat -pln, i found
some apps require exclusive root previlages that cannot be done by a
sudo command also ex: network traffic monitoring etc and one can always
set permissions on the files and folders so as to be operated by root

I have moved on to using Linux Mint 7 RC 1 and now it responds better.
Unfortunately, it seems to be a lot less accurate now than it was when

This problem isn't gone, and it's not a support issue. It is a bug. I
have pinpointed the problem, and figured out how to fix it, at least

displayed it properly
It appears that the suspend request isn't even getting to the kernel. As
a first cut, I'm assigning this to the gnome-power-manager package.

especially the ones, which were plugged in before the turn up of the
computer. After system start up I have to unplug and re-plug the device

I read another similar bug and there some guys got it fixed like that:
into /boot/grub/menu.lst on kernel line they added clocksource=tsc. I tried
