main culprit for me seems to be OpenOffice Calc. I have upgraded to OOo

Looking at the attachments in this bug report, I noticed that

However, the main difference is that my system unfreezes after 5 to 15
minutes or ugly freezing. It looks like a lockup though.

implement the desktop-enty-spec (namely kbuildsycoca4) and GNOME depends on
