Surely it would be simpler and better just to have /scripts/casper put
the right thing in casper.conf to start with? Nothing else other than
casper-snapshot uses that, and it seems wrong to have to have it know
what the initramfs happened to use as its target directory name.

I grepped the source of evince for the "drag-data-received" gtk signal
and found nothing. Can some developer confirm that it is handled by
external (gnome?) libraries? If this is the case, is it like evince
itself can't decide to ignore a drop? If so do you know where to signal
this bug properly?
I don't see why this should make a difference. casper-snapshot uses
getopt; it can cope with either a space or an equals sign there. Yes,
the manual page only documents one of them, but that's because it would
be overly wordy to document both - using an equals sign does not appear
to be wrong.

Duplicate status is right (the other 2 issues here are fairly trivial to
fix ime) but several work-arounds have appeared in other duplicates of
99740 so i thought i'd help people by mentioning them to save them
Milan: I don't think it has anything to do with lo. The problem is that
unless I boot straight into KDE, NetworkManager wont run. That is, if I
log into GNOME and then switch to KDE => no network ==> no KDE. On the
other hand if I go straight into KDE then I can connect with no problem.

I have the same issue. I'd like to run macchanger to change my MAC
address before the interface is brought up. I used to do this with
Network-Manager 0.6 in if-pre-up.d/, but since Network-Manager 0.7, my
script to change my MAC address isn't called anymore...
Is there a workaround to change the M

Hi! I have the same problem, although I am not technical enough to know
where to dig to figure it out. I have found though that some programs
are more likely to cause this issue: any flash animation in firefox
using nonfree (though not in Opera), and as you say, the animated
screensavers (in my ca

window. This is surely feasible. Firefox does this. Of course it is nice
