thanks a lot. You are right. The problem is related to LDAP groups
rather than to NFS. I had also a local group that was also stored in
LDAP (with different GIDs). After removing the entry from the local
group file, pulseaudio works fine now.

Just to make it clear (sorry for spamming) the dragging in the workspace
switcher doesn't work when compiz is enabled because the workspace
switcher lacks the code to do it, it has nothing to do with what compiz
does or doesn't support. I submitted a patch upstream some time ago,
it's all on GNOME
I believe flash only exits fullscreen when compiz is being used, can
someone test that (not home right now)? That seems to be the main
complaint about this bug.
In any case, it'd be the only part of the bug that we could actually
fix.
